Fair Use Policy

Tandata offers hosting packages with generous resources. To ensure an optimal experience for all customers on our shared infrastructure, we apply a Fair Use Policy. This policy applies to all shared hosting, WordPress hosting and email hosting packages. VPS and dedicated servers are excluded.

1. Purpose

This Fair Use Policy prevents abuse of shared resources and ensures a stable, fast hosting environment. "Unlimited" means no fixed limits for normal use, but usage must be reasonable and proportional.

2. CPU and RAM

Listed CPU cores and RAM are available within the shared environment. Continuous 100% CPU use is not permitted. Temporary spikes are normal. Cryptocurrency mining, brute-force scripts and permanent heavy computation are prohibited.

3. Storage

Storage is for hosting websites, email and related files. Not permitted: archive storage, file sharing services, illegal content. Files over 1 GB may be blocked. Extra storage available as addon.

4. Bandwidth

Unlimited data transfer for normal website use. Not included: large file hosting (>500 MB), video/audio streaming, file mirrors, bot traffic.

5. Email

Unlimited emails for regular communication. Not permitted: spam, more than 500 emails/hour or 5,000/day, mailing lists over 10,000 without prior consultation, phishing.

6. Databases

No fixed maximum. Total size within storage quota. Individual databases over 5 GB should be discussed with support.

7. Websites and domains

Website count is a guideline. Domain aliases do not count as separate websites. Parking large numbers of domains without content is not permitted.

8. Cronjobs

Minimum interval: 15 minutes. Long-running processes (>60 seconds) may be restricted. For intensive cronjobs, consider VPS hosting.

9. Enforcement

Step 1: notification (min. 48 hours). Step 2: resource throttling. Step 3: suspension for repeated violations. Illegal activities may result in immediate suspension.

10. Exceptions
